Deborah has conducted numerous seminars, tastings and wine dinners, judged wine competitions, served as keynote speaker at wine festivals and been interviewed on radio, television, podcasts and wine blogs.

In 1992, beginning with her family’s wine brand from Australia
Deborah Gray was among the first to bring to the United States iconic, hand crafted wines from small, family-owned vineyards, forging strong relationships along the way built on trust and consistent performance.
Deborah founded Bluestone Wine Solutions in 2007 to include consulting services for new U.S. importers, distributors, and foreign alcohol suppliers, as an offshoot of her original import company, The Australian Wine Connection, which she sold in 2007.
How to Import Wine - An Insider's Guide, was awarded Best Professional Wine Book, U.S. 2012 by Gourmand International and was 1st runner up in the world competition.
How to Import Wine is in its 3rd edition, with a newly revised release on December 4, 2022, and the addition of 102 pages of new material.
Deborah was an instructor at San Diego State University as part of their Business of Wine Certificate program from 2013 to 2022.
Her course, Wine Importing and Distribution bringing real world knowledge and experience to each new class of students. Each year, she updated her curriculum to remain current with trends, practices, regulations, and state laws.
Her book, How to Import Wine - An Insider's Guide, was awarded Best Professional Wine Book, U.S. 2012 by Gourmand International and was 1st runner up in the world competition held in Paris.
